Weta report

We are learning how to write information reports. Here is my weta report.

Introduction

Wetas are members of the insect family. They are endemic to New Zealand and they are also the
heaviest insect in New Zealand.

Appearance

It’s legs are like a spider. It  looks like a cockroach. The head looks like a shiny ball.  It has stripes
on its body.

Habitat

Tree weta live in holes in trees (a gallery)

  Diet.

Wetas eat native plants. They are  mainly herbivores but some eat small invertebrates for

Lifecycle

Weta hach from eggs and are born in springtime. As they grow bigger they moult their exosceleton at
least 10 times. Once they reach adulthood, tree wate live for six to ten months in the lowlands and in the mountapeins they may live for several years.                               

 Threats                       

People are threats to weta because their habitats.

Conclusion

The weta is a unique insect and we are doing our best to look after it.

today the whole entire school came to the hall and there was   show about fish. We  are trying to save the fish from becoming extinct. When you go on the boat  you must where  a life jacket.It is in important to pick up the fish with  a wet  towel.  And he sang  a songs like save the seabirds from becoming. Extinct please save the seabirds and always waer a lifejacket

Crazy Hair Day

Today was crazy hair day.  4 teachers were going to be bald. Their name was Mr Lyons and mr Faulder mr Greenfield  and mis Mudgway. All of them got their hair shaved and were bald. I was going to cry for Miss Mudgway because I didn’t want her to cut her hair.
